So my dad bought my brother a Blackberry a few months ago, and then my brother decided to buy another phone for himself and gave me the Blackberry. Now I have a Blackberry with no use so I'm going to try my luck and sell it.

Unlocked Blackberry Pearl 8100 - used for 3 or 4 months but no scratches/dents/damages to the phone. Comes with the charger and a protective covering for the phone. My dad told me he got it for $200 so I'm asking for $125-150?
I live in the Warden/Steeles area but can meet at any subway station.

Anyone know any good, affordable and experienced dressmakers in the city?
Preferably those with photos of dresses that they've actually completed.
If they've dealt with West African fabric and dresses that would be a bonus

Odd question: Anyone know if planned parenthood toronto is open on new year's eve? (Just need to drop by to fill a prescription....)
It's got to be out of my apartment on/before the 1st, so I'm very willing to negotiate.

I have a suitcase with a broken zipper but in otherwise good condition, so I'd like to repair it if possible. Is there somewhere downtown or midtown-ish that can replace suitcase zippers, and how much does it usually cost?
Dear Classical singers in Toronto,
I am in search of a new vocal coach. Do you have or know a great one you could recommend? I am looking for:
1) someone with experience in opera, but who isn't exclusively using opera material; I like to play around with musical theatre and folk sometimes, too.
2) someone who will help me study for my RCM exams since I have decided I'd like to do them.
3) someone who doesn't travel regularly. My most recent teacher did this, and while I am glad she has a successful singing career, I found it frustrating to have so many breaks in routine.
4) someone affordable, ie, not the conservatory itself. People who work out of their home may be ideal?
5) someone with real credentials such as a masters degree in music or teaching-level RCM status.
If it helps, I'm a soprano, and a fairly high soprano at that. Male or female, it doesn't matter. I live at Yonge & Eg and work at King & Dufferin so someone close to these locations would be ideal, but I have no problems travelling if a good teacher is accessible by TTC.
Thanks! :) I miss my voice and would like it back.

I'm looking for stores that currently have good sales on treadmills! I know Canadian Tire has them 50% off, but their selection is very small. Any store would help! Thanks in advance!
Ok, I know this is totally last minute as New Year's Eve is tomorrow, but our initial plans have fallen through and now we're pretty much stuck.
There is about 7 of us from 23-28 years old (Ok, I don't know how relevant this is, but whatever) and looking for a place to ring in the New Year. We thought of clubbing, but I know NYE is the busiest night for clubs and I don't really feel like being trampled to death while trying to grab a glass of "champagne" at the stroke of midnight. Ideally, we'd like to be in a lounge-type of atmosphere where there's good music, but places to sit and maybe have a bite or two.
Like I said, I know this is totally last minute, but I'm getting pretty desperate. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!

okay this one is for the golfers out there...
where in the gta are bette & court articles sold? i seem to have acquired a shirt of theirs by mistake, and would like to try to return it for store credit if possible... it appears to be the sort of item that can be found at golf pro shops, but the name of at least one that carries this stuff would be pretty handy at this point. bonus points if it's in the west end!
alternately, does anyone wanna buy a shirt off of me? it's polyester. yum.

I just moved into a rental condo near the waterfront. So far I've discovered... well, not much. There's a Shoppers open til midnight. There's a Sobey's. I walked by a Thai place but I'm not sure if it's any good...
What are the hidden gems along the downtown (Spadina-ish) part of the waterfront? Please tell me :)

Are there any Value Villages/Salvation Army shops around Kensington Market? Any suggestions regarding Kensington? I'm going there for the first time tmr and I'd love some recommendations for food/stores/etc!
I went Pier 1 Imports and discovered the brand Knock Knock, which has some great stationary and things like this:

Does anyone know where I can find these where they are *not* overpriced? I like a lot of their stuff, it's pretty unique. Also please don't recommend I just make them, that's not helpful! I already know this. I'm looking to see if I can find these, or similar sort of items (anything on the site really) for lower prices.
Thanks!

Is there a place in Toronto where i can get citric acid? I need 500gm - 1 kg. I know there are some online stores I can get it from, but I'd prefer brick and mortar store at this point.
Thank you in advance :)
Thank you in advance :)
I found out too late that the TTC's stopgap tickets expire on January 2 in the new year. I just bought some last week and can't use all of them in time.
How seriously are they likely to enforce this deadline? For example, are TTC collectors likely to accept the ticket if I included an extra $0.25 to match the new fare?
If not, I have seven TTC tickets to sell at a discount price.

I'm attempting to do my last shopping for a vacation to a sunny and warm area and need to find sandals. Shopping for sunny time clothes/accessories in December has been kinda difficult so I'm curious if anyone could point me to a store that would sell these types of sandals at a cheap price.
Any store that sell Hawaiian type shirt and swim trunks would be good to. I'm already gonna go check out Kensington market but I'm open to getting other suggestions.

I bought tickets to the Princess Margaret Lotto, and had the feeling that I'd won something, so I wasn't surprised when I got home a few days after the draw to find and Lotto envelope in my mail box. Excitedly, I tore it open, wondering what I'd won. A camera? A TV? A CAR?!?
Ha. No. I won a Bushnell GPS Backtrack Personal Tracker. The one thing they were giving away that I had no use for. Hell, I had to look it up online to figure out what the crap it was.
Ok, Mildred, get to the point- I'd like to sell it, because I cannot get the cash equivalence. Apparently it's worth $112 before tax, so roughly $130 after. I figure $100 is a good price, and covers the cost of one of the tickets I bought.
Either comment here or email me at designed.strange@gmail.com. And cross your fingers that I've got better luck with the cancer society lottary, and the heart and stroke lotto.
